New Hotel Investment Projected in Costa Rica

In the canton of Nicoya, Guanacaste province, it is planned to demolish the existing infrastructure and build the new facilities of the Harbor Reef hotel, a project that will require an investment of approximately $7.3 million.

3-102-719240 Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada presented the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) to develop the project called "Remodeling of the Harbor Reef Hotel", which will be built on a land of approximately 8,754 m2.

The document explains that the new design includes eight standard rooms, a security hut, an arrival structure, a Lobby building, eight family rooms, a cleaning station, a restaurant, two family suites, a service and utilities area, a swimming pool, a parking area and a workshop and crafts area.

The EIA specifies that the buildings will cover a total of 2,536 m2. 895 m2 will be destined for pedestrian circulation, pedestrian footpath, and 94 m2 for vehicular circulation, total access to the hotel.

It is estimated that approximately $7,300,000 will be invested in this project.

An environmental impact study has been submitted in Costa Rica for a 14,000 square meter hotel development in the touristic region of the Gulf of Papagayo, Guanacaste.

In the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the "DP6 Papagayo Project", filed with the National Environmental Technical Secretariat in July 2015 by Hoteleras Playa Pochote S.A., it is indicated that the hotel tourism development will have a maximum of 318 rooms.
