Progress in plans for airport in eastern El Salvador

Parallel development plans next to the La Union Port are already appearing on the agenda of possible investors, consultants and government institutions.

Such is the case with the enabling of an air strip at El Tamarindo beach in La Union, or the construction of an airport in the east, a key piece of infrastructure that has been requested by businessmen that are interested in developing tourist complexes in the zone.
According to tourism consultant, Miguel Angel Chevez, an English firm with expertise in medium-sized airports will visit the country in the next few days to evaluate the installation of the airport.
