Price ceiling for fuel issued in Panama

Starting 12:01 am on Thursday, a price ceiling for the sale of gasoline and diesel will come into effect, according an announcement by the Government.

The maximum price per gallon of gasoline (91 octanes) will be $3.99, while for 95 octane it will be $4.16. For a gallon of diesel it will be $3.59, according to the Cabinet resolution.

Price per gallon of Super gasoline , highest to lowest: $5.54 Costa Rica, Nicaragua $5.07, $4.71 Honduras, El Salvador: $4.34, $4.33 and Panama Guatemala $4.22.

New drop in the price of fuel in El Salvador

For the second consecutive week, the price of fuel will have a considerable drop, providing some relief to drivers.

The Ministry of the Economy reported today that a gallon of special gasoline drop by $0.45, regular gas by $0.39 and diesel by $0.13. These changes will come into effect from 14 to 20 October.
