Peruvians interested in investing in Nicaragua

Annual trade between Nicaragua and Peru stands at just 2.5 million dollars.

Gerardo Morris, the Peruvian ambassador, says one of the projects of the current trade mission involves an eight million dollar invesment by the beverage company Big Cola to install a plant in Nicaragua.
There is also interest in investing in a fisheries plant, he said.

Guatemala is seeking Russian investment in energy and transport, Lars Pira, Guatemala's deputy foreign minister, said during a visit to Moscow.

Last year, trade between the two countries totaled US$57 million, but Pira said that "there is great potential for cooperation."
