Panama's exports stage an April recovery
Panama's goods exports staged a recovery in April, according to official figures.

Goods exports earned Panama US$545.3 million in April, 8.4 percent more than in the same month of last year, and they increased by 6 percent year-on-year in terms of weight.
El Salvador earned US$1.9 billion in exports January through May, a 19.4 percent increase on the same period of last year, reported the central bank, BCR.
Panama's coffee exports grew by 21.6 percent year-on-year in the first five months of 2008, the Comptroller-General's Office reported.
Foreign sales of goods and services in 2012 were at record levels, increasing by 8.9% compared with 2011.
In the first two months of 2013, Costa Rican exported goods worth $1.884 billion, representing growth of 4.2%.
