Panama to Host World Surf Championship
The 2011 Billabong World Surfing Games will take place between June 25 and July 3 in Panama.

The announcement was made by the president of the International Surfing Association (ISA), Fernando Aguerre, who commented, "Surf in Panama is excellent ... we are eager to bring our main competition there."
Organized by the International Surfing Association, the championship will take place between 16 and 23 October.
The International Surfing Association (ISA) announced that next year's World Surfing Championships will be held at Hermosa Beach in Jaco (Central Pacific).
In July 250 contestants will arrive from 20 countries to take part in an International Surfing Association event sponsored by the Nicaraguan Institute of Tourism.
From July 31 to August 9, Billabong's World Surfing Games Costa Rica 2009 will gather participants from 40 countries in Jacó.
