Panama to Export Beef to Chile

By mid-year the country will start exporting beef to Chile.

Chilean authorities have authorized the slaughterhouses after verifying Panamanian health standards.

"Although the name of the approved slaughterhouses was not stated, the head of the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), Emilio Kieswetter, said that Panama could start exporting beef in the next four or five months" stated the article at Laestrella.com.pa.
