Tender in Panama for $16 Million in IT products

Companies in the sector submitted their bids for the Framework Agreement on Computer Goods and Office Accessories for $16 million.

The Directorate General of Public Procurement of Panama received bids from several suppliers of computer goods for the 2009-2010 Framework Agreement.

The Pa-digital.com.pa website published: "21 companies participated in the act of receiving tenders for the Framework Agreement on Computer Goods and Office Accessories, including: El Educador Distributors, Soft-Net-Inc, Oteima Corp, Trimmark Solution , COMPULAB S.A., SONITEL S.A., DATATEL S.A., Solutions Q, Formas y Sistemas (Forms and Systems) and Soluciones Seguras (Secure Solutions), among others."

Tender for Household Appliances in Panama

The General Directorate of Public Procurement is tendering the contract to supply state entities with different types of household appliances and home appliances for the period from 2021 to 2023.

Wellness Tourism Promotion

Costa Rican authorities signed an agreement for the promotion and consolidation of the country as a wellness tourist destination.

In addition to the cooperation agreement signed between the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) and the Costa Rica Wellness Association, on May 16 the institution awarded a contract to the Costa Rican Technical Standards Institute (INTECO) to develop a national standard that establishes the service requirements that Wellness Spas must meet in order to be accredited.

Tender for IT Services for $25 million

The Directorate General of Public Procurement in Panama will receive bids for a framework agreement for IT products, networks, communications, and interactive solutions for the period 2012 to 2014.

The purpose of the tender is to select and contract a proponent or proponents with which it will sign a Framework Agreement to provide the supply of goods, networks, communications and interactive solutions for government entities, according to requirements in the technical tender specifications.

The finance minister, Guillermo Zúñiga "emphasized the transparency and effectiveness of the system because each of the framework agreements is done through public tenders and because you can choose what you need through an electronic catalog where suppliers and their products have already been analyzed."
