Panama: Works Begin on Via La Amistad

With a $ 21 million investment, Conalvías corporation began expansion works on the avenue.

Friday, November 19, 2010

This project consists of installing a four lane overpass, to solve traffic congestion problems which occur at the intersection of Jorge Santos, La Amistad and Avenida Ascanio Villalaz.

Additionally, the project includes the construction of an extension of the East Marginal until connected with the new bridge in order to allow continuous traffic flow between Albrook Mall and El Dorado shopping center.

Moreover, since this intersection services Curundú Plain, Albrook, Clayton and Dorado, a roundabout has been projected under the overpass to allow free movement to and from these areas.
