Panama Tenders for Land Ordinance plans

Tenders have been announced for the definition of the land ordinance plan for each of the four areas in which the territory is divided.

An article in Prensa.com reports that "... The Ministry of Housing and Land Management (Miviot) has divided the country into four zones to prepare the land ordinance plan for each of these .... and ... this year it will put out to tender four land ordinance plans, but as yet the amounts have not been defined.

"... The boundaries will include a first region called the Western area, covering the provinces of Bocas del Toro, Chiriqui and the Gnäbe Bugle region. Following this is the Central area, composed of Veraguas, Cocle, Herrera and Los Santos; and the Metropolitan area, which is composed of Colon, Panama and Panama West. The last area, called the Eastern area, is made up of Darien and the regions of Wargandi, Madugandí, Embera Wounaan and Kuna Yala."

Ordnance Planning for Greater Metropolitan Area
