Panama: License for 20 MW Solar Power Plant

The company Celsolar S.A. has been granted a provisional license to build a photovoltaic plant with installed capacity of 20 MW AC at the output of inverters and 25 MWp DC, in Gualaca, Chiriqui province.

AN resolution No.10957-Elec Asep:

"... IT IS RESOLVED:  

FIRST: AWARD to the company CELSOLAR, S.A., registered in the Public Registry Folio 155620824, a provisional license for the construction and operation of a photovoltaic generation plant, called PARQUE SOLAR GUALACA to be located in the village and district of Gualaca, province of Chiriqui, with an installed capacity of 20 MWn AC at the output of inverters and of 25 MWp of DC power with 65.630 photovoltaic panels of 320 Wp each.

For these purposes, the certificate for a Provisional License, registration No.352-17, is issued. The characteristics of that project are described in the attachments to the request which resides with the National Authority of Public Services. It warns the company, CELSOLAR, S.A., that this license does not authorize the construction, installation, operation and exploitation of a plant for the generation of electricity in the village and district of Gualaca, Chiriqui province."

A provisional licence has been granted to Sol Real Istmo S.A. for the construction and operation of a photovoltaic plant in the province of Chiriqui.

From a statement issued by the National Authority of Public Services in Panama (ASEP)

"...Resolution:

"...TO GRANT for the company SOL REAL ISTMO SA, registered on Listing 828,467 Document 2565103 of the Public Record A PROVISIONAL LICENSE for the development and operation of a photovoltaic system for electricity generation called SOL DE DAVID, to be located in the village of Progreso, Baru, Chiriqui Province, with an installed capacity of 9.99 MW. For these purposes, the Provisional Certificate with Registration License No.184-14 is issued. "

Panama: License for 10MW Solar Farm

July 2014

A provisional license has been granted to the company Divisa Solar 10 MW for the construction and operation of a photovoltaic plant called DIVISA SOLAR in the province of Cocle.
