Panama Invites Bids for $1.7 Million Security System

The Ministry of Justice and Government has put out to tender a security system at “El Renacer” penitentiary.

This contract includes designing and building an electric fence, surveillance cameras and constructing the lobby of the penitentiary complex known as “El Renacer”.

Companies must submit their bids before September 30th, and will have 150 days to complete the project.

Guatemala: Tender For Surveillance Camera System  

February 2014

The Trust for Supporting Urban Planning is putting out to tender the lease-purchase of a camera system for monitoring road space in Guatemala City.

The tender is for the hiring with option to purchase of the following:

- Installation of 400 video cameras high definition

RACSA of Costa Rica: Speed Camera Costs

In order to put into operation speed cameras on the highways, RACSA has requested $5,500 a month for each of the 90 cameras to be installed.

This would mean that every month the Road Safety Council (Cosevi) would have to pay $495,000, not to mention that in December it has to install 150 cameras, meaning it will need $825,000 per month for the monitoring system to work.
