Panama Invites Bids For Laundry Management

The Health Coordinator is inviting bids for the administration of the Health Ministry’s laundry center for $4 Million, located in Curundu.

The laundry central is responsible for washing and ironing hospital clothing (coats, hats, sheets, pillowcases, etc.) of the following hospitals: Santo Tomas, Susana Jones, National Cancer Institute, Santiago Barraso Polyclinic, Nicholas A. Solano, National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, San Miguel Archangel, the 16 health centers in the metropolitan area as well as the mobile health clinics.

Through the bidding process the Health Coordinator expects to hire a specialist company in industrial laundry, with proven experience, experienced labor, financial capability and which can also demonstrate that can install in a short deadline all the equipment required to operate at full capacity for a period of ten (10) years.
