Panama: Infrastructure Projects for $75 million

Sanitation, drinking water, construction and repair of schools are part of the works which the government announced will be carried out this year in Ngäbe Bugle.

From a statement issued by the Government of Panama:

The Cabinet Council held in Llano Tugrí approved projects in the fields of education, housing, health and infrastructure directly impacting 197.981 residents Ngäbe Bugle.

During 2015 $ 74.2 million was invested in Ngäbe Bugle, of which $64.9 million will be channeled into the social area.

The Minister of Education, Marcela Paredes announced that educational projects developed in this sector of the country will benefit more than 70,000 students with an investment of approximately $25 million. Among these works are the construction of preschool classrooms in six schools for a total of $480,000 and the construction and repair of 22 schools for $3.5 million.

Panama: Tender for Infrastructure Works in Veraguas

The government has approved for 2015 a tender for the construction of a sewage network and water treatment plant, roads and housing projects in various cities in the province.

Basic Health and Sanitation Project Announced in Panama
