Panama: "Technology Hub" for 2018

The nation aims to become one of the world's top five countries in technology export capacity.

One of the first steps was the creation of a technology cluster, located in "Ciudad del Saber" (City of Knowledge), comprised of 6 companies.

"Panama's strategy for achieving this goal is based on the results of Peter Wilson's study, professor at Hass Business University, in Berkley, U.S.", reported Prensa.com. "'The goal is tough, but with the determination of the industry, academy, and, above all, the government, it could be reached', commented Wilson".
