Panama: Excavation project to be tendered at the end of the month
At the end of August the bidding process for the third phase of the dry excavation of the navigation channel on the Pacific.

8 million cubic meters of materials will have to be excavated for this project which will be the continuation of phase 1 which is currently underway and is 57% completed.
The Panama Canal started the tender process for the third dry excavation contract.
A call for bids will begin at the end of July for the fourth and last contract for the dry excavation of the Expansion Program of the Panama Canal.
The Panama Canal Authority pushed to December 22nd the deadline for the fourth dry excavation phase.
The Panama Canal Authority will hold meetings with interested companies today and tomorrow, in order to coordinate tender terms.
