Panama: City Hospital to be Tendered in March
The Social Security Fund announced that the $ 450 million project will be tendered on March 25.

Companies from Korea, Spain and the U.S. have shown interest, according to the director of the Fund, Guillermo Sáez-Llorens.
An meeting held attracted 55 companies to hear information about the so-called Hospital City construction project.
The Social Security Institute (CSS) will invite bids for the construction of a new set of buildings to replace “Arnulfo Arias Madrid” complex, a hospital facility.
In order for the $587 million project to start, the only thing now needed is approval of the contract between Panama’s Social Security Department and the company FCC Construction by the Controller General of the Republic.
Nine consortiums have submitted bids for technical studies, planning, architectural design, development, and construction plan approval for the Specialized Hospital Center, Dr. Rafael Hernandez, district of David, Chiriquí.
