Panama: City Hospital to be Tendered in March

The Social Security Fund announced that the $ 450 million project will be tendered on March 25.

Companies from Korea, Spain and the U.S. have shown interest, according to the director of the Fund, Guillermo Sáez-Llorens.

The director added "... the bidding is not closed to local businesses, but noted that Panama needs better quality buildings. Nine Offers for Panamanian Hospital

Nine consortiums have submitted bids for technical studies, planning, architectural design, development, and construction plan approval for the Specialized Hospital Center, Dr. Rafael Hernandez, district of David, Chiriquí.

The consortia participants were: Isolux Corsan, Consorcio Acciona Infraestructura, Consorcio Cobra-Assignia, Consorcio Hospital San José Panamá, Consorcio Condotte Ciudad Hospitaria, Consorcio Sanidad David, SACYR S.A, Ingeniero Civiles Asociados S.A. de C.V. and Consorcio Eduinter-Copisa-Becsa.
