Panama: Auction of Treasury Bills for $25 million

On February 10 the Ministry of Finance will be holding an auction of $25 million in Treasury bills with a maturity date of one year.

Maturity Date: February 12, 2016
Term: 12 months

Paying Agent: Banco Nacional de Panamá
Base proposal: Multiple Price
Auction type: American or Multiple Price Auction
Submission of Offers: From 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. through electronic auction system of the Panama Stock Exchange.

The issuance of Treasury Bills will be in accordance with the provisions of Cabinet Decree No. 4 of 26 January 2010, published in the Official Gazette 26.458 as of January 28, 2010.

Panama to Issue $50 million in Treasury Bills

July 2015

On August 4 the Ministry of Finance will auction $50 million in Treasury notes maturing in June 2019.

The auction will take place on August 4, with a settlement date on August 7 and maturity on June 5, 2019, and the resources will be used to "finance the government ... or to pay for other debt programs."

Guatemala Issues 10 Year Bonds at 7.124%

The Ministry of Finance has issued debt certificates worth $156 million with 10 and 15 year terms, at rates of 7.125% and 7.50% respectively.

15 Year Guatemalan Bonds at 7.50%

January 2015

The Ministry of Finance received offers for $205 million but only issued $188 million in tracts with maturities in 2025, 2027 and 2030, at rates of 7.12%, 7.37% and 7.50% respectively.
