May 17, 2018The National Economic Council (CENA) endorsed a draft loan agreement for B /. 75 million between the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to finance the implementation of the Customs Logistics Integration Program.
The program seeks to contribute to the improvement of Panama´s logistics sector through the modernization of processes, technology, infrastructure and fiscal and parafiscal control equipment in the three border posts with Costa Rica; Paso Canoas, Guabito and Rio Sereno, ensuring traceability in Panama's fiscal routes.
