New flights Canada to Panama

Canada's Transport Minister, John Baird, today announced the designation of Air Transat to operate twice weekly scheduled flights between Canada and Panama, and WestJet to operate scheduled flights between Canada and Panama on a weekly basis.

More Canada - Costa Rica Flights Announced

July 2015

The airline WestJet has announced that it will incorporate, from December 2015 to April 2016, weekly flights between Toronto and San Jose and between Calgary and Liberia.

The airline will also operate a new air link between Calgary and Liberia, four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday), transporting, as before, a maximum of 136 passengers per flight.

New Flights Costa Rica - Canada Underway

The low-cost Canadian airline West Jet will start on Monday October 29 regular flights between Liberia in Costa Rica and Toronto in Canada.

There will be two flights a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, and the official launch will occur with the arrival of the first flight to Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia.

Permanent Air Frequencies Between Liberia - Toronto

September 2012

The low cost Canadian airline Westjet has requested permission to fly from October 2012 two weekly flights between Daniel Oduber Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Westjet is already flying charter flights between the two airports, and has now presented to the Civil Aviation Technical Council (Cetac) of Costa Rica "a request to fly from Toronto to Daniel Oduber Airport on a fixed schedule from 29 October."

More Iberia Flights Between Spain and Panama

April 2011

The Panamanian government and the airline have widened the scope of their agreement to add a fifth weekly flight with each party investing $370,000 in the route's market.

The signing of the new agreement between Iberia and the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) will increase the frequency of flights to five per week from Madrid Barajas airport to Panama's Tocumen International airport.
