New Flight Caracas - Panama City

An announcement has been made that the Venezuelan airline Conviasa will be operating a new route between the two cities every day except Saturdays, starting from February 5.

The Venezuelan Consortium Aircraft Industries and Air Services (Conviasa) unveiled its new air frequency to Panama, which will operate every day except Saturdays, departing from Caracas in the morning and arriving at Panama around 9:30 am

Martesfinanciero.com reports that "... The flight from Panama to Caracas will depart at 10:15 am, with arrival at Maiquetia Simon Bolivar International Airport in Venezuela, at 12:15 noon. "

"... On Saturdays, Conviasa will operate a flight to Nicaragua. The return to Panama from Nicaragua will be at 5:10 pm, to arrive at 6:10 pm and connect to the departure to Caracas at 7:10 pm "

Panama - Venezuela Conflict Worsens

Direct Flights from Caracas to Panama and Managua Announced

The Venezuelan state airline Conviasa is to start flying directly, starting in December, from Maiquetia airport to Tocumen and Augusto Sandino.

"On December 5 we will be flying from Maiquetia (the airport which serves Caracas) to Panama and on December 7 wewill be flying from Panama to Nicaragua," said Hebert Garcia, Minister of Water and Air Transport in Venezuela.
