New $8 Million Clinic in Panama

The country's social security agency (CSS) is to build a hospital in La Villa de los Santos on the Azuero peninsula, south west of the Panamanian capital.

It will be located to the rear of the current San Juan de Dios facility and incorporate improvements to diagnostic equipment, according to Iris Jaén de Tinajero, CSS medical director.

"The construction plans are currently under review for the new polyclinic, which, in addition to receiving patients from Los Santos will also serve the neighboring province of Herrera," reports Prensa.com.
