Nicaragua to Host China Trade Exhibition

The exhibition will be held at the Crowne Plaza Convention Center and 60 companies will participate this coming August 27.

The fair will promote the commercial exchange between both countries, allowing Nicaraguan businesses to offer products of interest to the Chinese market.

Cristhian Marenco wrote in the El Nuevo Diario website: "Similarly, there will be two forums with industry professionals from the commerce sector and Nicaraguan businessmen who are interested in strengthening trade relations with China. In the forums, topics related to the diversity and quality of Chinese products, along with providing interested parties the opportunity to know what the demands of the Asian market are."

A press release from Costa Rica’s Ministry of Foreign Trade states:

The Foreign Trade Corporation (PROCOMER in Spanish) and the Sichuan Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT in Spanish) are to sign a cooperation agreement.

A total of 28 Chinese companies will put their products on display in Costa Rica from September 11-14.

Meanwhile, some 300 government officials and business leaders from Central America will take part in a forum along with Chinese representatives, organizers of the event reported on Monday.
