Nicaragua suspends restriction of Honduran truckers
The Government of Nicaragua suspended the measure, which prohibited the transit of Honduran transporters, after representatives from both countries met in Nicaragua.

A commission was appointed and will meet on the 22nd of August to seek solutions to the problems.
A strike was announced today by the cargo carriers if the conflict with the Nicaraguan truckers is not resolved.
The enactment of the Rules for International Land Transit in Central America is being opposed by carriers because of the fines included in the regulation.
With the failure of nationwide negotiations with the government transporters in Honduras have threatened to strike as early as Tuesday.
The Central Council of Transport has announced a three-day strike in protest against El Salvador levying a tax on freight carriers of between $35 and $250.
