Nicaragua: 25% Decline in Motorcycle Sales

The decrease began to be registered in November, after the municipal elections in Nicaragua.

Monday, April 27, 2009

The representative of Grupo Visión of Nicaragua (motorcycle distributor), Luis Jarquín, attributed the decline to the global economic crisis and the domestic political situation in Elnuevodiario.com.ni.

In the article, " Jarquín said that 'many' people are returning their motorcycles or they are being repossessed due to non-payment. 'And they are not paying because they have been laid off. In Managua, the layoffs have been in free trade zones that have been closing and the impact of the crisis is already being noticed there,’ he said."
