Nicaragua: $ 20 million for Infrastructure
The funds donated by the Japanese government will cover construction of three bridges in the south Caribbean of Nicaragua.

The non-reimbursable cooperation agreement was signed by the Nicaraguan Minister of Transport, Fernando Martinez and the Ambassador of Japan in Managua, Jiro Shibasaki.
The government has announced that with funding from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency four bridges will be built on the Caribbean coast, with a completion date of 2022.
With an investment of $30 million, construction has begun on the 360 meter bridge which connects Nicaragua to Costa Rica by road.
On May 6 the offers will be opened for the project to build the La Democracia and Humuya bridges.
Worth $5 million, the 210 meter bridge links the port town of Corinto with the rest of the country.
