It will be hosted at the Conventions Center of the Hotel Crowne Plaza, and is organized by “AC Eventos & Ediciones”, in association with CANATUR, the National Tourism Chamber.
The objective of this fair is to promote Nicaragua as a touristic destination for both domestic and foreign travelers. Its organizers expect the participation of large, medium and small tourism companies, as well as municipalities, government institutions and cooperation entities willing to back the development of the nation's tourism industry.

The National Toursim Chamber is preparing for the third edition of the international fair which will take place on the 13th and 14th of April 2012 in Nicaragua.
The event, in which 130 national companies are expected to take part in, alongside 35 to 40 wholesalers from Europe, The United States, Central America and Canada, has as its goal to make people aware of the riches, both natural and cultural, that Nicaragua has to offer to international tourism, and its advantages over other destinations in the region.

The XXVI edition of Expotur, a tourism fair, will take place between May 16 and 23 at Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura.
350 companies and instructions from the Central American tourism industry will participate in the event, plus 200 from North America, Europe and Asia. These include “touristic operators, hospitality companies, airlines, car rentals, tourism institutes, chambers and associations, and banks”, reported La Prensa Libre.

Nicaragua will host the Central American Travel Market – Catam 2008 – from October 10 through 12.
Catam is a trade fare that allows travel wholesalers from the United States, Europe and Asia to get to known Central America's tourist destinations and find a place for them in their catalogues.
