The Central Bank of Nicaragua has made available a new bill worth 500 córdobas ($24).
Antenor Rosales, president of the Central Bank, explained that the new banknote is more secure and more difficult to counterfeit.

"On one side, the new note will feature the home where national hero Sandino was born, and on the other an indigenous statue", reported Laprensa.com.ni.
