Nicaragua Inaugurates Touristic Seaplane Flights

The first of three acquired seaplanes debuted with a promotional flight.

Routes will include San Juan de Nicaragua, San Carlos, Ometepe Island, Corn Island, Indian River, Laguna de Perlas and Miskito Keys, among others.

The company has not yet announced the price nor the frequencies of the service, as they await the second hydroplane, expected for March.

Nicaragua Buy Seaplanes for Tourism

In the coming days it will receive the first of four seaplanes purchased to promote domestic tourism.

The announcement was made by the president of the National Port Enterprise (EPN), Virgilio Silva, who noted that new aircraft will cover tourist routes from the capital, Managua, to autonomous regions in Northern and Southern Caribbean.
