New investments in the region for McDonald's
This year, the McDonald's franchise is planning to open five restaurants in Guatemala, one in Nicaragua and two more in Honduras.

Sigloxxi.com reports: "The projections by the company are to build between 5 to 7 new establishments in zones 11 and 16 (Guatemala City), for which it would be investing close to $500 thousand.
By the end of the year, the multinational fast food chain plans to open four new restaurants.
Each of these new restaurants will involve an investment of between $800 thousand and $1 million.
The McDonald's restaurant chain will inaugurate four new restaurants this year and will increase their opening hours.
The Golden Arches group, which manages the McDonald's franchise in Central America, announce that Costa Rica and Panama will receive an investment of more than $3 million in remodeling and new restaurants.
