New Sterilization Plant in Costa Rica

This is actually a big project for Costa Rica, for this sterilization plant would be the first of its kind in the Central America area; and the best news is that it would actually be fully operational this year.

The Baxter medical equipment company is a global medical products and services company with expertise in medical devices, pharmaceuticals and also biotechnology. The company has approximately 46,500 employees worldwide.

New Sterilization Plant in Costa Rica

BeamOne have announced an investment of $15 million to expand its current operation and add a new ethylene oxide sterilization plant.

The press release states:

BeamOne LLC, a subsidiary of Synergy Health plc, announced today that it will install a new plant in Costa Rica where they will provide services for sterilization using ethylene oxide.

Costa Rica: Beam One Invests $5 Million to Enlarge Plant

The company, which focuses in medical device sterilization, will expand its current manufacturing facility to double its production capacity.

Located in El Coyol de Alajuela, it started operating in Costa Rica back in 2009.

The American firm BeamOne, which provides sterilization services of medical implements, is building a 5-million-dollar plant in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Company president Ray Calhoun said the plant will be ready to open its doors by the end of 2008, and that it will have a staff of 24.
