New Statistical Methodology in Costa Rica

The Costa Rican National Statistics Institute conducted its latest survey, and found that unemployment stands at 7.3%.
Costa Rica's unemployment rate stands at 7.8%, after increasing three points in a year.
The unemployment rate in the first quarter reached 10.1%, causing increasing concern for the business sector, which every day is facing more obstacles to generate more and better jobs.
The unemployment rate in Panama dropped to 4%, the lowest since numeral statistics have been kept, for over 40 years.
Almost 30% of the economically active population is underemployed.
