New Holland Apparel expands in Nicaragua

The apparel company expanded its facilities located in Zona Franca, Astro Nicaragua.

The company, which began operating in the country in 2006, currently employs 1,600 people.

Robert Neff, CEO of New Holland Apparel of Nicaragua, told El Nuevo Diario that "next year we will produce sportswear for a new client, Adidas / Reedbok."

Their new facility will have 100,000 square feet of construction.

Textile Company Expands Operations in Honduras

Hanes Brands is investing $2.2 million in a new plant for making garments in its facilities in the north of the country.

Due to the interruption in Haiti's operations, the company is going to expand production at its facilites in Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua.
