The airline announced direct flights between Fort Lauderdale and San Salvador starting June 13.

Nonstop Dallas-Roatan Flight

August 2013

As of November 23, American Airlines will offer a direct flight on Saturdays between Dallas International Airport and Roatan.

In addition, the airline announced it will increase the Miami-Roatan frequency to three flight per week, also in November. These new flights will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

United Airlines has begun daily flights connecting the San Salvador International Airport to Dulles International Airport in the U.S. capital.

Flights depart daily at 1:35 pm from San Salvador, arriving in Washington at 6:54 pm, while from USA, the flight leaves at 8:59 am and arrives in El Salvador at 12: 45pm (local time).

New Flight Between Costa Rica and the U.S.

From January 14th, 2011, Apple Vacations Tourism Company will offer a direct flight between Liberia and Chicago.

The new route will be operated by the airline USA3000, with vacation packages aimed at middle and upper-middle class citizens.

New Direct Flight Between El Salvador and Guayaquil

Taca Airlines will open a new direct flight between El Salvador and Guayaquil, Ecuador, three times a week.

The company is conducting the required paperwork to get the official approvals from the air transport authorities of El Salvador and Ecuador.

Estuardo Ortiz, COO of Avianca-TACA, commented that “this new route makes it easier to travel between the three Americas, connecting cities in Canada with Central America and with northern South America. We are trying to serve our passengers in the best possible way”.
