Firestone to open parts factory in Costa Rica
US-based Firestone is to open a factory in Turrialba, Costa Rica, to make parts for suspensions. The company is seeking an initial workforce of 100.

"Demand for suspensions is growing in the developing world, and this fits into our plans to boost our global presence," said Firestone president Mike Cero.
With an initial investment of $ 8million and another $6 million planned to be added, Firestone will manufacture air springs for export to the US.
U.S. based Caspian will build a gypsum board factory in the country and distribute the product in Central America.
Binswanger Negotiated a $13 Million lease on behalf of Conair to Bridgestone/Firestone Subsidiary in Costa Rica
The multinational company, which manufactures colors, flavors and fragrances, will serve Central America and the Caribbean from Costa Rica.
