New Copa Flight to Brazil

The airline announced a new direct flight from Panama City to Brasilia beginning on June 18th.

The new flight will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, leaving the Tocumen International Airport at 6:32 pm (local time).

"Brasilia becomes the airline's sixth destination in Brazil and destination number 56 of its extensive route network," reported Elnuevodiario.com.do.

Copa begins flights to Bolivia and Aruba

Since yesterday, Copa Airlines has two new destinations in the Americas, Santa Cruz in Bolivia and Oranjestad in Aruba.

Both flights are with a Embraer 190 aircraft.

The flight to Oranjestad leaves Panama on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 12:02 p.m., arriving in Aruba at 2:54 p.m., while the return flight is on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 4:50 p.m., arriving in Panama at 5:36 p.m.

Copa Announces New Destination to St. Martin Island

Copa Airlines has announced that from 18 December 2010 it will begin operating a direct route between Panama and the Caribbean island of St. Martin.

The new flight to St. Martin will depart Panama on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 12:22 pm and arrive at 4:17 pm. The return flight leaves the island on the same days at 5:30 pm, landing in Panama at 7:44 pm.

Copa Airlines has announced a new nonstop flight between Monterrey and Panama, home to the Hub of the Americas.

With the opening of this new route to the capital of the Mexican state of Nuevo León, passengers from this city, for the first time, will be able to connect to multiple destinations in Latin America without having to make connections via the United States.
