New Brands Come to Costa Rica

At least twelve international clothing brands have announce the opening of stores in the country.

ETA Fashion, an Ecuadorian chain of department stores, Express, a north American brand of clothing and accessories for men and women, the Spanish franchise selling children's clothing Gocco, the Brazilian store Hering and the brand of Colombian menswear Arturo Calle, are some of new brands entering the Costa Rican market.

ETA Fashion, already has two stores in the recently opened malls Lincoln Plaza, in Moravia, and Paseo Metropolis, in Cartago.

Meanwhile, Express projects two openings for next year, one in Lincoln Plaza in February and one in May in Multiplaza Escazú.

"The North American stores Forever 21, Gap and Banana Republic, and the Spanish Springfield, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Stradivarius and Oysho complete the list of debutante stores", reported Elfinancierocr.com.

More KFC and Quizno's Restaurants in Costa Rica

The franchise company QSR International is to open 15 new stores during 2012, and invest in the remodeling and reopening of three others.

QSR International, which owns the fast-food franchise KFC and Quizno's Sub in the region, will open 8 new KFC restaurants and 7 new Quizno's outlets in Costa Rica.
