¿Which are the basic competences needed for this century?

A Bnet article describes the five skills business leaders must have, according to Professor Helen Haste, from the Harvard Graduate School of Education:

Managing Ambiguity
There is not one linear solution to problems. We must learn (and teach) to manage ourselves in the diffuse zone of reality.

Agency and Responsibility
We must be confident of our capacity to ethically manage conflicts of interest.

Finding and Sustaining Community
Connect and interact with people, without focusing in ourselves.

Managing Emotion
Leave aside (and teach others to) the notion that reasons and emotions are always contradictory.

Managing Technological Change
Acknowledge that new tools will be at first useful to do things a little better, but eventually will alter the way of doing them.
