The Macro Conference on Multisectoral Products and Services, which is being organized by the Department of Promotion and Trade Information at AGEXPORT in its 3rd edition aims to be the largest network of providers nationwide for Guatemalan exporters. The event which will take place on July 3, 2014, will involve more than 20 buyers interested in agricultural, manufacturing and services.
This event will feature be a renewed platform for attendees who in addition to having more than 15 business meetings in one day, may attend a series of free lectures, aiming to strengthen trade issues on the international market.

On July 2nd, Guatemala City will be hosting the 3rd edition of the business meeting between companies from Central America and Mexico.
From a statement issued by the Guatemalan Exporters Association (AGEXPORT):
On July 2, 2015 at the Westin Camino Real, the 3rd. edition of AGEXPORT 's Macro Meeting for Central America and Mexico will be held, in which small and medium enterprises in the region will hold for a full day, business meetings with international buyers, with the goal of augmenting the exports of participating SMEs.
On July 2 in Guatemala City regional entrepreneurs will be meeting with their Mexican counterparts to explore business opportunities.

In order to support SMEs starting to export or those who have already exported but want to diversify, AGEXPORT, through its Department of Promotion and Trade Information has created the Macro Rueda Central America and Mexico, with the aim of supporting improved competitiveness of SME's and linking them up to natural markets such as Central America and Mexico.
The event will be held on the 7th and 8th of November and will feature 20 minute appointments between sellers and buyers.
The activity will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental in Guatemala and is intended to facilitate contacts between national and international participants, promote brands and open new markets.
Between January and August Guatemala’s sales to Mexico increased by 16% compared to the same period last year.
The increase in sales to Mexico has generated enthusiasm in the Guatemalan export sector, which is seeking to strengthen trade ties and convert the neighboring country into it's main export destination.
