Blue Panorama will open its first flight from Rome to the capital of Nicaragua on July 11, said the president of Blue Panorama Airlines, Francisco Pecci, who recently visited Nicaragua.

The frequency will be one flight a week with a stopover in Havana, but the return trip will be direct from Managua to Rome. The cost will be 30% lower than the tickets on the Miami-Rome route, said the executive, as reported by Laprensa.com.ni.

Blue Panorama plans to open further sales offices in Managua in order to offer their services to the rest of Central America, according ACAN-EFE.

Pecci said his "intuition" is that Nicaragua "is a country with a great future and a lot of confidence" and he sees a good future "not only economically, but also in terms of tourism."
