Tender: Supply of Paper

The Public Ministry of Guatemala is putting out to tender a supply of 40 thousand reams of bond paper and 48 thousand rolls of industrial toilet paper.

The deadline for receipt of bids is January 22, 2018.

"The paper must be packed in resistant cardboard boxes, each containing two thousand five hundred (2,500) sheets extended in individual reams of five hundred (500) units, packed with adequate protection.

Toilet Paper: Purchases from Mexico fall 4%

In the first nine months of 2018 imports of toilet paper in the region totaled $194 million, and purchases from Mexican companies were down 4% over the same period in 2017.

January 2019

In the first half of 2018, companies in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Honduras led the purchases of toilet paper abroad, accounting for almost 70% of Central American imports.
