Tender: $8 million Works on Aqueducts

In the Dominican Republic, a tender is being launched for cleaning and renovation of channels and berms, and the construction of irrigation wall system in Alto Yaque del Norte.

Dominican Republic Government Purchase INDRHI-CCC-LPN-2018-0002:

"In general, the Contractor must limit its constructive activities to said area, as well as others expressly indicated by the contracting institution. Any work on rock, using explosives, machinery or manual methods, will require the authorization and recognition of the Institute in charge of the project, in order to carry out the activity.

The Contractor will be responsible for the safety of the works and must provide and maintain the necessary vigilance to comply with the obligations described in the contract documents."

$50 Million Tender for Irrigation Works

September 2012

Costa Rica is preparing an international tender for a 34 kilometer extension of the "Canal del Sur", in Guanacaste, and 52 kilometers of secondary canals.

In approximately two months the administrative processes will be to completed allowing the National Groundwater Irrigation and Drainage Services (Senara in Spanish) to publish the tender for the redevelopment of the canal south of Arenal Tempisque Irrigation District (DRAT) which currently irrigates 27,000 hectares. The execution of the works to be tendered will add a further 8000 hectares of irrigation.

El Salvador: $5 million in Irrigation Infrastructure

January 2012

The Ministry of Agriculture has allocated $5 million for the renovation of irrigation infrastructure for 2012.

The Minister of the department, Guillermo Lopez, announcement the investment, the largest in the $107 million project portfolio planned for the year by the entity.
