KFC Invests $ 2.5 Million in Costa Rica
The company is scheduled to open three new restaurants in Santa Ana by end of March.

Daniel Valverde, brand and sales manager for KFC Costa Rica informed Elfinancierocr.com: "The establishments are in the new Villa Platino shopping center which is located on the highway that connects San Antonio de Belén to Santa Ana. With these transactions, the company will have 24 KFC, 16 Quiznos and 5 Teriyaki restaurants, for a total of 45 establishments.
Those that are already here are expanding by opening more stores, while other franchises are coming to settle in a market with rapidly changing trends in consumer dining.
In 2011 fast food chains plan to open 20 new restaurants.
Fast food chains will open 29 new restaurants in Costa Rica, most of them in the Metropolitan Area.
In the first six months of the year, four fast food franchises have opened six new restaurants.
