Italy's ambassador in Panama, Placido Vigo, forecast substantial growth in Italian investment as Panama develops as a logistics center of the Americas.

Qatar Interested in Panama's Port Development

On a recent visit the Development Director of Qatar expressed his country's interest in investing in Panama.

The Director of Business Development of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar, Nassir Jarallah Al-Marri, explained his country is interested in developing major business projects with Panama and that they are exploring areas such as maritime and air ports, tourism, agriculture and trade.
