Investors Show Interest in Nicaraguan Tourism

During the II Central American Conference of Tourism and Hospitality Investments, Radisson Hotels showed interest in the country.

According to Elnuevodiario.com.ni, the Vice President of Development of the Radisson hotel chain, Edgar Garin, said: "We are looking at the region because we have seen several opportunities in Central America. I can officially say that Nicaragua looks very good." Additionally, the report said that "the executive vice president of the chain in Latin America, Julio Carvajal, stated that everything depends on relations with other local tourism 'development actors.’"

The II Central American Conference of the Tourism and Hospitality Investments Sector, Cathie, which will be held from April 25 to April 27, will bring together 170 investors, developers and local and international representatives from chains like Wyndham Hotel Group, Milton Hotel Corporation, OBM International, Tour Season Hotel and Resorts, Starwood Hotel and Resorts and Intercontinental Hotels Group.

Nicaragua: $30 Million Wyndham Hotel

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts formed an alliance with Grupo Mariana to develop a $30 million hotel in the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.

The $30 million, 330-room Wyndham Mariana Resort & Casino will be one of the key centerpieces of the Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort, which is situated on 923 acres with over one mile of beachfront.
