Inflation in Costa Rica slows down
Since July 2008 inflation has grown but at a slower rate, according to results published by the National Institute of Statistics and Census.

Patricia Leiton write in an article published on Nacion.com: "For a family this means that they will continue to experience increased prices, but at least the increase are, on average, less than those experienced in the first part of 2008.
Despite the slight monthly increase of 0.19% in the consumer price index in May, inflation in the last twelve months was -0.43%.
According to the report from the National Statistics and Census Institute consumer price index rose 5.82% in 2010.
In October, the consumer price index recorded a decrease of 0.28%, placing annual inflation at -0.86% and inflation accumulated so far this year at -0.98%.
According to information from the National Institute of Statistics and Census, the change in prices from January to March was 1.37%.
