In his article in Bnet.com, Scott Eblin offers three good techniques to ease the transition to a new manger, something that most of us will face several times in our careers.

1 - Ask him for instructions
Not the details, but the general vision the new boss has on how to achieve success.

2 - Find out how he likes to be informed
Some bosses need to control all the time. Other want to be bothered only in case of emergency.

3 - Put yourself in his shoes
Ask yourself three questions, and try to answer them from your boss's point of view: ¿What am I thinking? ¿How do I feel? ¿What do I need?
