The article by Carmen Molina Tamacas on points out that the following is observed from the study: "Fixed phones, even cell phones, have a strong competitor in the spectrum of commercial communications. Today, more and more companies are using tools that provided by the Internet, especially free ones such as e-mail accounts or videocalling, in order to maximize time and significantly reduce operating costs."

First ICT Fair in El Salvador

With the support of private enterprise and the Government, from November 29th to December 1st, the first Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Fair will be held.

The aim of the fair is to promote the use and application of information and communications technology, said Gilberto Lara from the company Connection, promoter of the event.
