Honduras to Build New Hospital in Choluteca
The Ministry of Health announced the construction, in the next 18 months, of a 150-bed hospital.

The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Arthur Benda, at the completion of a marathon to raise funds to repair another hospital.
With an investment of $36.6 million work has begun on the new Southern Regional hospital in Choluteca, Honduras.
The Government will invest $19.8 million to build an 80-bed hospital.
The Health Ministry announced it will build a public hospital in the department of La Unión.
Work is expected to begin in 2011 once the international construction tender process is completed.
