Honduras proposes training for call center operators
FIDE, business groups and universities are pushing for the creation of a training center for Contact Center operators.

Ivan Vasquez reports in an article on ElHeraldo.hn that "In the last few days Tim Searcy, CEO of American Teleservices Association (ATA), and Jason Fine, CEO of the Contact Center Institute (CCI), and Gretchen McKinney, Vice President of CCI, have visited the country in order to develop a model similar to the one developed in the Dominican Republic in the services sector.
New lines of business represent further diversification and specialization of operations in Costa Rica. Convergys currently has over 2000 workers in the country providing service in English, Portuguese and Spanish
In the past six years the call center sector grew by 29%.
The company Convergys is continuing to expand its presence in Costa Rica, now with the opening of its fourth contact center, which will hire about 500 new employees.
Since its creation in 2006, the INADEH has capacitated 439,878 people in a variety of disciplines.
